Support Equal Housing Opportunity!

In 2014 we:

  • Committed to answering live calls reporting possible discrimination from 1 to 4 pm. We have taken more than 10,000 hotline calls already this year.
  • Partnered with the Mexican Consulate to make fair housing resources available to hundreds of new immigrants across Oregon.
  • Increased education and outreach to help providers with the new source of income law, which includes the Housing Choice Voucher Program; and distributed hundreds of our New Landlord Guide, which explains fair housing comprehensively and clearly.
  • Focused on underserved portions of the State providing a variety of trainings and written materials including Eastern Oregon, the North Central Coast and Southern Oregon.

In 2015 we will be increasing awareness about the new Section 8 legislation, as well as working with jurisdictions to ensure that they understand their legal obligations to affirmatively further fair housing. We need your help to continue this work across all of Oregon. Please Donate Now.
