Please join the Fair Housing Council of Oregon for a free webinar “Fair Housing for Advocates” on March 23, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
This training is great for case managers, home visitors, teachers, housing navigators and anyone who is advocating for people who are members of the protected classes which include: Race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, familial status (raising children under 18 years), disability, marital status, source of income (housing choice vouchers or other subsidies) or victims of domestic violence.

About the Presenter
Jamie Gatewood is the Education and Outreach Coordinator at Fair Housing Council of Oregon. Her background is in early childhood education, teaching in the classroom and advocating for families. Jamie has also worked as a home visitor through a community health clinic, providing support and education to parents in their homes. Most recently, Jamie managed the programs of a small nonprofit care farm where she ran the education and garden programs, volunteer program and assisted with grant work and data collection. In her free time, Jamie enjoys cycling, hiking, and spending time with her family, friends and mini dachshund, Latte. Jamie is very excited to focus her advocacy and people skills towards FHCO’s mission in ending illegal housing discrimination.
